At Summit Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd, we are driven by a vision to produce clean, green energy and reduce Nepal’s dependence on imported petroleum fuels. Our mission is to unlock the country’s vast hydroelectric potential, contributing to national energy security and sustainable economic growth by investing strategically in renewable water resources and skilled human capital. Nepal’s path to energy independence requires strong collaboration between the public and private sectors. We advocate for greater public awareness of the challenges faced by hydroelectric entrepreneurs from difficult terrain to logistical and regulatory barriers and for transparency in the generation and distribution of power. Despite policy support for hydropower development, practical implementation and ease of doing business remain challenging. Through our flagship project, the Bakan Khola Hydro-Electric Project (BKHEP 44 MW) in Sankhuwasabha, we aim to demonstrate responsible development that creates local employment, strengthens infrastructure, and empowers communities. Every challenge presents an opportunity. Out of Nepal’s MW of hydroelectric potential, only about 2,900 MW is currently harnessed. We are committed to turning this untapped potential into real value for investors, local communities, and the nation as a whole.
