SUNCE was founded in 1929 as a small family workshop for steel joinery, gates and fences. The founder, Aleksandar Marinković, was a well-known craftsman whose gates adorn the city of Kragujevac even today. The company was named after the symbol of the sun on the stone bridge in the centre of Kragujevac that was made in Marinković's workshop. The values of craftsmanship were passed onto Aleksandar Marinković's successors, his son Ljubiša and grandsons Dušan and Vladimir who continued the family business and now lead the company which has over 100 employees. Thanks to its eight decades of experience and consistent quality, SUNCE has a leading role as one of the most successful companies in the joinery industry. Its staff includes over 20 highly qualified managers and over 80 competent craftsmen. Together they guarantee the excellence of SUNCE products. SUNCE`s main products and services are energy efficient aluminium and PVC joinery, production and assembly of structural and semi-structural facades, Alu-bond facades, aluminium fences and window benches. Importantly SUNCE is a socially responsible company, evidenced by several awards granted to the firm, including the European Award for Social Responsibility for SMEs in 2013, the National Certificate for Social Responsibility and the Virtus Award for Corporate Philanthropy in 2011.
