Sungi Development Foundation Making Waves

Sungi Development Foundation(SDF) is a leading rights' based national organization working extensively in both development and humanitarian sectors since year 1989 guided by its vision towards inclusive, democratic, peaceful resilient and just society. Sungi is governed through set of policies that ensure transparency, accountability and effectiveness within its systems and operations. Sungi mobilized a network of civil society activists to campaign for effective public sector development policies in education, health, livelihood and environment. The devastating floods in these years brought Sungi into direct contact with local communities as it mobilized emergency relief and provided support in rehabilitation of effected communities. Sungi has in-depth linkages with stakeholders and communities in both urban and rural areas of the count.
