Sunlit Sea

Sunlit Sea develops a new type of technology for floating solar power installations. The solution is based on prefabrication of serially connected solar panels who's back plates are intrinsically robust and heat conductive aluminum floats, facilitated for and integrated with a new and effective solution for logistics. Floats are arranged in a tightly packed matrix of water-cooled floating panels, permitting a much more efficient production than the competition. The solution has very good hydrodynamic and aerodynamic properties and can well handle rough sea. The combination of a solid floater and cooling results in lower degradation of the panels and lower operation and maintenance costs along with better health and safety conditions. The technology opens a whole new market for solar power on the ocean.
