Sunlover Reef Cruises is a proudly Australian-owned Cairns tourism operator connecting visitors with the Great Barrier Reef and Fitzroy Island through flexible, high-quality experiences for independent travellers, groups and education programs. Since 1991, we have introduced more than 1.3 million guests to the Great Barrier Reef. Today, our portfolio includes our signature Moore Reef pontoon experience, Reef & Island In A Day, Fitzroy Island ferry services and a range of premium activities, including diving, Seawalker, guided snorkelling and scenic helicopter flights. Located on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, our Moore Reef pontoon offers an extensive range of activities for different ages, interests and swimming abilities. Guests can snorkel, explore by glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible, visit the underwater observatory, enjoy the Great Barrier Reef’s only waterslide or upgrade with guided experiences. Our Fitzroy Island services provide flexible access to one of Cairns’ most popular island destinations, while Reef & Island In A Day combines the Outer Reef and Fitzroy Island in one itinerary, with guest numbers intentionally capped to create a more relaxed experience. Education and conservation are central to how we operate. Our marine biology team delivers curriculum-linked student programs, guided interpretation, citizen science and reef monitoring initiatives designed to build a deeper understanding of the connections between land, sea and people.
