Sunny Cycles is a Glasgow-based charity dedicated to making cycling accessible to all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We provide an inclusive space where everyone can experience the physical, mental, and social benefits of cycling. Founded by a team of people passionate about cycling, we continue our mission of offering valuable cycling programs to the community. Our goal is to ensure that people of all abilities, including those with disabilities, can enjoy the freedom of cycling. What We Offer: Cycling Lessons: For beginners or those looking to regain confidence. Bike Skills Sessions: Improve cycling technique and road safety skills. Led Rides: Explore Glasgow’s scenic routes in social, inclusive group rides. Volunteering Opportunities: Help support our cycling community through various roles. Specialist Bikes: We offer a wide range of adapted bikes—such as tricycles, velotransporters, and side-by-side cycles—ensuring that everyone, including people with disabilities, can enjoy the joy of cycling. Bike and Helmet Hire: No bike? No problem! We provide bikes and helmets for all. We operate from Glasgow Green and Victoria Park, running regular activities for all ages and abilities, including specialized sessions for older adults and disabled individuals. Our work is made possible with support from The National Lottery Community Fund, Paths for All, Cycling Scotland, and Cycling UK, allowing us to build a more inclusive cycling community.
