Sunrise accommodation is within walking distance of Mountshannon Harbour, also offers superb fishing, boat trips to Inis Cealtra/Holy Island one of Ireland’s famous monastic heritage sites. Bicycle and boat hire are available locally. Lots of water based sports at the Lough Derg Activity Center which is only 15 minute drive from our BnB. We are en- route to the Clare Walks and East Clare Way walking routes, a perfect way to experience Irish wildlife and nature while you keep fit. Wander through magnificent woodlands and remote country roads while you seek out some ancient monuments like our local Dolmen. Cycling through Ireland is also a fun and active way to make the most of our beautiful county. There are many Golf courses nearby.
