A product is now available to bring a tangible medium to phenomena that occur daily: Sunset and Sunrise Predictions. SunsetWx entered its development stage in late September 2015. After several weeks of research, design and testing, the product was ready for debut in mid-November. The tool uses a proprietary algorithm, along with the high-resolution North American Model and Global Forecast System to predict the quality of sunrises and sunsets daily around the globe. Social media is the foundation of our success, and our medium for communicating with the public. In essence, the product brings a tangible medium between the public’s interest in the meteorological field, and scientific work in the forecasting field.
