Sunshine People started with the founder Nahla Summers completing 'sponsored challenges' but decided that instead of money she wanted to raise more kindness in the world instead. So she started to ask her friends and family to do an act of kindness instead to show there support when she climbed Snowdon back in 2013. Since then it has taken on amazing media coverage in the countries she has completed challenges in. Cycling miles across America and walking 500 miles from South to North England. She now visits schools and does kindness workshops and talks with the children. She predicts from her 500 mile walk that acts of kindness was completed, that does not include the ripples. At the heart of this kindness social movement is an aim to change the algorithms that people have on their social media. Changing it to one of positivity and kindness and steer away from the hate and negativity that can feed our minds.
