Sunworks Farm

In 1992 we moved from the City to our new farm in Armena, Alberta and immediately started converting our land to certified organic status. In 1995/96 we took a Holistic Management Course which helped us focus on the direction our farm and lives would take. Holistic Management is described as a goal oriented approach to managing land, livestock, people and finances in a manner which is environmentally friendly and economically and socially sound. We have been raising Certified Organic Animals since 1997. Our Philosophy - We believe that we are stewards of the land and that we should leave it in a better state than when we got it- We do our best to work with Mother Nature and not against it. We believe that our children should be raised in a healthy mental and physical environment- We believe that animals should be treated kindly, humanely, and ethically, and have access to fresh air, clean water and sunshine- We believe that a healthy environment and low stress, grows health animals, which reduces disease and the need for medications. We want to grow good, healthy food for our customers- We guarantee that you will not taste better meat than our pasture-raised products We offer only the best in certified organic meats. At Sunworks Farm we work very hard at maintaining a level of quality and freshness that can be appreciated when serving our products to your family and friends. This ensures that we meet the highest standards of organic farming and can continue to offer our customers the finest organic food.
