Superior North Emergency Medical Services is committed to bringing innovative and patient centred emergency medical and healthcare services to the City and District of Thunder Bay. SNEMS headquarters is located in the heart of Northwestern Ontario and services 15 municipalities including the City of Thunder Bay. We provide a robust complement if healthcare and emergency services that support our communities in their time of need. SNEMS employs highly trained professional Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedics who respond to a variety of Medical and trauma 911 emergencies and also have opportunities to support as Community Paramedics to provide public health initiatives and clinical based care. With resolute compassion and dedication, paramedics serve the public to the greatest standard in medical care. The paramedics are supported by a dedicated administrative and management team that provides the backbone of a strong and cohesive group of professionals. SNEMS Paramedics are reinforced by an internal Joint health and Safety Team and Wellness Coordinator who provide a healthy compliment of tools and resource access to care for our dedicated team. We incorporate a Peer Support network as a valuable tool that keeps the health and safety of our paramedics on the forefront. SNEMS responds to the emergency healthcare needs of a diverse population group that expands over the vast district of Thunder Bay and serves a base population of over northern community members as well as visitors to the region. SNEMS provides 911 response from 19 stations with a fleet of 53 vehicles to serve the needs of our district.
