Support4sdr Wales

Support4SDR Wales provides hope to families in Wales with a child or adult with cerebral palsy. We offering formation and support to families investigating the surgery Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy which is a medical procedure available to improve the mobility and reduce pain in those with cerebral palsy. Currently this surgery is not routinely funded in England and is not funded at all by the NHS in Wales, but is funded by the NHS in Scotland. Support4SDR Wales is passionate about improving the lives of those affected by cerebral palsy in Wales and can provide information on options available for surgery, assistance with funding and we are actively discussing the availability of this surgery on the NHS with the relevant bodies in Wales.
