Surabaya Intercultural School

For more than 50 years, Surabaya’s first and oldest international school, Surabaya Intercultural School has delivered an exceptional education that prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our graduates earn placement at leading universities worldwide, including over USD in scholarships awarded to the Class of 2025. Your child learns from outstanding educators from Indonesia and around the world. All are certified Apple Teachers who bring innovation, expertise, and diverse perspectives to every classroom. Learning takes place on a campus featuring an Olympic-size swimming pool, full-size soccer pitch, gyms, playgrounds, arts studios, and strong safety systems supported by 24-hour security. As Surabaya’s first and only Apple Distinguished School, technology is seamlessly integrated across learning. Students advance through a clear academic pathway: the IB PYP in elementary, a research-based middle school program, and rigorous Advanced Placement (AP) courses in high school. The French Track Programme, introduced in 2025, offers an additional bilingual pathway. Students also benefit from diverse extracurricular activities, competitive athletics, the arts, and Week Without Walls—programs that develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and global citizenship. Families join a close, caring, inclusive community strengthened by an active PTO that hosts parent gatherings, cultural events, workshops, and activities that help families connect and feel at home. At Surabaya Intercultural School, your child gains the knowledge, confidence, and values to excel at university—and in life.
