In Oct 2009, Sumitomo Precision Products Co,Ltd purchased certain assets from Aviza Inc and merged these assets with Surface Technology Systems to form a new company named SPP Process Technology Systems Ltd.(SPTS). Following a management buy-out in 2011, the company changed its name to SPTS Technologies Ltd. In 2019, SPTS was acquired by KLA Corp, and continues to manufacture plasma etch and deposition equipment for the semiconductor industry in Newport, South Wales. Please go to:
