Where Cocoa Beach Meets the Stage Founded in 1959, Surfside Playhouse is a nonprofit community theater dedicated to enriching Florida’s Space Coast through live performance, education, and cultural engagement. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we serve as a creative hub where artists, volunteers, and audiences come together to celebrate the transformative power of the performing arts. Our 250-seat, fully air-conditioned theater in Cocoa Beach offers a diverse lineup of productions—from classic dramas and musicals to contemporary comedies and original works. Each season, we present high-quality performances that entertain, inspire, and reflect the vibrant spirit of our coastal community.
