Dr. Collett is a board-certified eye surgeon based in Texas who is passionate about optimizing vision and providing modern ophthalmic care. He focuses on cataract and ocular surface surgeries. As a results-driven physician, he is committed to achieving the best possible visual outcomes. His approach to cataract surgery includes highly tailored plans, often involving advanced technology intraocular implants (ATIOL) or microincision astigmatism corrections. Dr. Collett is one of the few local ophthalmologists to have a certification in ocular surface reconstruction. The term “interventional dry eye” is an aggressive approach to an aggravating disease. Dr. Collett offers methods that go beyond simple eye drops. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Prokera are among the most efficient dry eye interventions and both are available at our Bellaire office. Dr. Collett's journey to becoming an eye surgeon required 13 years of education and training split between Miami and Boston. Despite the time and effort, he was driven by a desire to help patients through surgery and found that ophthalmology was the perfect fit for his interests. Today, Dr. Collett provides expert eye care, with an emphasis on advanced surgical and interventional techniques. The Bellaire clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and will continuously improve to remain at the forefront.
