I am an architect and consultant that specializes in veterinary teaching hospital planning and veterinary medical equipment planning. I have a thorough understanding of the spatial requirements, material finishes, details and equipment for animal care facilities. The facilities may include housing and treatment space for small and/or large animals (canine, feline, exotics, equine, bovine, small ruminants & camelids); and can include exercise yards, performance arenas, surgery suites, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, specialty areas (dermatology, medical oncology, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, physical rehabilitation, orthopedic & soft tissue surgery), emergency, intensive care and intermediate care, isolation, central & sterile supply, pharmacy (USP 797 / 800), clinical pathology labs & research labs, student, staff and client areas. I can work directly for the owner and / or can be part of the design team.
