Every student is unique and their tuition should be too! During my time as a secondary science teacher I became aware of just how important it is for students to be taught in a way that benefits them the most. Unfortunately, schools will never be able to provide this personalised tuition to every student, which is why personalised tuition is so important, and it is why I decided to become a private tutor! I love working with students one-to-one and helping them to gain confidence, which leads to increased attainment. As a science graduate and qualified teacher, I have a fantastic subject knowledge and a great understanding of how to get the best out of my students. My students agree that they find their work much easier to understand when it is related to their own life, with real world examples, and explained as simply and clearly as possible, until we find an explanation that *clicks* with them! More and more families are enjoying the benefits of private tuition and in a time of increasing anxiety and stress among young people, a helping hand and some extra support is more important than ever!
