Suwk Technologies through its Suwk Learn Initiative is redefining vocational education for Africa’s future workforce. We provide digital vocational training that is practical, accessible, and built for real jobs. Through our platform, learners gain structured skills training, guided practice, and access to nationwide apprenticeship opportunities that connect them directly to income pathways. Our work brings together education, technology, and workforce development. We focus on trade and technical skills that drive economic mobility, from sustainable fashion to barbing, leatherwork, solar installation, phone repair, and more. Every course is designed for low bandwidth users, mobile-first learners, and communities that are often excluded from traditional training systems. Suwk also offers apprenticeship matching across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria through our network of verified mentors. This gives learners the opportunity to apply their training, gain hands-on experience, and transition into jobs or microbusiness creation. We are backed and supported by some of the world’s most reputable accelerators and education-forward initiatives, including the Mastercard Edtech Fellowship, AWS Education Equity Initiative, Orange Corners Nigeria, and FutureMakers by Standard Chartered. Their support strengthens our mission and accelerates our ability to serve learners at scale. To date, Suwk has trained over 3,500 learners and facilitated more than 500+ apprenticeships. We also work with organisations across Nigeria to deliver workforce programs, youth employability initiatives, and skills development projects. Our vision is to build a future where every African youth can acquire a skill, build a career, and access opportunity regardless of location or background.
