Swala Energy Limited is an Australia-based oil and gas company. The Company's principal activities are the exploration for hydrocarbons in Tanzania and Kenya with the completion of its operated seismic acquisition program onshore Tanzania, technical review and processing of the seismic data in Kenya and preparation of the drilling program in Tanzania. The Company's segment is the exploration of oil and gas in Africa. The Company's holding are in the East African Rift System with a total net land package of approximately square kilometers in Tanzania and Kenya. The Company, through its subsidiary, Swala Oil and Gas (Tanzania) Plc, holds a participating interest in the Pangani license and the Kilosa-Kilombero license in Tanzania. The Company also has a participating interest in its Kenyan joint operations arrangements for the Block 12B license.
