Swanger Prickett LLP was established in 2020 by Derry W. Swanger and C. Lane Prickett who have collectively practiced for more than 60 years. While our physical office may be in Austin, Texas, we advise not only individuals and families and the businesses they own, but also large institutional clients located in Texas as well as other parts of the United States. In the areas of estate and probate, we offer experienced advice to our clients in connection with estate, asset, and charitable planning, probate administration, business succession planning, and the formation and administration of tax exempt organizations. With regard to transactional work, we offer assistance to our clients with corporate transactions, including entity formations and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, and general business matters. Additionally, in the area of commercial real estate we provide advice and assistance with the structuring of development opportunities, the representation of landlords and tenants, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financings. In an effort to better serve our clients, Derry and Lane, as former large firm attorneys, have created this firm to provide high quality legal services on a timely and cost effective basis.
