Swanson Lake Ranch, Llc

Swanson Lake Ranch is an agricultural farm and ranch located on the Republican River near Swanson Reservoir in Southwestern Nebraska. SLR has approximately 450 acres of wetlands enrolled in the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), 100 acres of farm and Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) crops, 250 acres of native grassland, 15 acres of private ponds, and two miles of Republican River bottom. The property is managed for general farming and livestock grazing, but our wetlands, forested river bottom, and sand hills make this a special place for wildlife so we place a strong emphasis on conservation and habitat management which allows us to offer unique hunting, fishing, and recreational opportunities in addition to the core agricultural business.
