Swapanhour

Through SwapAnHour, members (known as ‘swappers’) use their time as currency, swapping their skills, goods or donate with others to foster the spirit of community. No money exchanges hands. You ‘bank’ hours when you help a swapper and in return, you can use those hours for help from another swapper. SwapAnHour covers services, goods and donations - You offer your skills to help a swapper and in return you get free help from any swapper, equal to the time you offered- You lend your goods to a swapper and in return borrow some goods for free- You donate something to a swapper and in return you take something from other swappers when you need it. SwapAnHour doesn’t discriminate by market value of skills or goods - An hour of gardening work is worth an hour of IT support - Lending a mower is worth lending a beach umbrella - Donating a pair of shoes is worth donating a book You can create a group in the App to bring together people from the same neighbourhood or sharing the same interest. The concept is based around evenly balanced give and take and connecting real people within their local community under the principles of fair trade. Helping each other with our time, energy and our many skills doesn’t just make the world better. It also makes you better.
