SWASH LONDON is a British luxury lifestyle and print brand established in 2004 by its founders and artistic directors Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka after winning the internationally prestigious Hyères prize. Graduating in 2001 from the womenswear programme at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London, Swash and Yamanaka became a couple as well as creative partners that went on to jointly create a fascinating luxury lifestyle brand with an artistic and personable touch. Their mutual strong commitment to craftsmanship has been consistent throughout the brand's history. SWASH LONDON is recognised for its artistic and refined hand drawn-painted printed designs. SWASH LONDON designs in-House luxury womenswear, accessories & bags including its iconic scarves as well as lifestyle collections. Collaborating with the global sportswear label PUMA and the luxury beauty brand Shiseido as well as partnering in projects with some of the world's leading department stores: curating displays for Liberty in London. Designing a limited edition collection of scarves for Le Bon Marché in Paris and Barneys in New York. Among other high profile collaborations, private commissions and consultancy projects. The world of SWASH LONDON is constructed by Swash and Yamanaka's impeccable ideas of taste, lifestyle as well as their young family and iconic whippet, which became a strong source of inspiration and the brand logo.
