The Swasth Foundation was founded in 2008 with the goal of Health and Joy for all. We move closer to this goal through 2 initiatives - Swasth India Medical Centres and The Swasth Institute. 1) Swasth India Medical Centres (SIMC) are India’s largest network of NGO-run primary health centres. SIMCs are located in low-income neighborhoods of Mumbai to detect, diagnose and treat silent killers (e.g, hypertension, diabetes) which are a leading cause of mortalities and often tip families into poverty. Each SIMC is a one-stop, round-the-corner clinic providing pathology lab services, doctor consultations and medication at low or no cost in these communities. SIMCs have delivered $3M+ in cumulative savings to patients and see patient visits annually.
