Since 1982, Swasthya Kalyan has been a front runner in the private sector in introducing newer trends to the healthcare and education industry. Dr. S. S. Agarwal (M.D. Medicine), founder and chairman of the group, through his vision, hard work & commitment, expanded the spectrum of the group to encompass 4 Blood Bank Centers, 9 Colleges and a 20 bedded running hospital. From introducing the first ambulance of private sector in Rajasthan to establishing the first private sector blood bank of the state, Swasthya Kalyan Group has forever led the way in untested waters. It was the leading healthcare imparting unit of Rajasthan and led way with Nationally renowned ventures such as Nation's first Nuclear Imaging Center. In 1998, the group ventured out in educational sector by opening the first private Nursing College of Rajasthan. Subsequently the group introduced various other colleges such as Homeopathic College, Physiotherapy College, Yoga & Naturopathy College & Paramedical College. Through its excellent infrastructure and strong core values, Swasthya Kalyan Group became a leading name in medical education. On 26th January 2001, Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank was awarded a cash reward of Rs. by His Excellency The Governor of Rajasthan for providing exemplary health services to the people of the state. In 2006, citing the growing need for well trained manpower in industries, Swasthya Kalyan Group opened the first private all girls polytechnic college in Tonk. Subsequently coed polytechnic colleges were opened in Chaksu & Jaipur. In 2012, Swasthya Kalyan Technical Campus Engineering College was established to create young technocrats. The college is the first of its kind to introduce "Industrial Training Interface" in order to make the budding engineers more familiar to industrial background. It also runs "Innovation Centre" where the students are encouraged to pursue their interest and play with their imagination to make innovative discoveries.
