Sweet Briggys Brigadeiro is located in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. We craft the art of the Brigadeiro Gourmet since August 2012, where every sweet is handmade to order using high quality ingredients. We work hard to attend every client needs, offering a range of different ways to present and deliver our products. Sweet Briggys can be served as part of events catering, offered as favour boxes, gift boxes or just a simple box for that afternoon craving. “Brigadeiro” (bree-gah-day-ro) is the Brazil’s favourite and most traditional treat. It is a sweet treat made from sweetened condensed milk, butter and chocolate (powder) that is slowly cooked until it gets a smooth and rich consistency. After it cools down, it's molded into rounded shapes, covered with chocolate sprinkles and placed in mini baking cups. This simple preparation originated lots of other recipes such as coconut, walnuts, white chocolate, caramel crunch, coffee, just to name a few. You can eat as dessert, snack, party favour, or paired with a good shot of expresso at your 5pm craving. Brigadeiro is popular because anyone can make it. It is democratic because you can cook it your way, with your favorite ingredient or jumping the shape step and eat it straight from the pan (good for lazies). You can't buy happiness but you can buy brigadeiros and that's kind of the same thing.
