Swensen Software produces high quality software that allows enterprise data to be strategically and securely accessed by the right people at the time. The data can be accessed using web browsers and custom designed mobile apps. APIs are a key ingredient to accessing your corporate data. We are experts at implementing the API layer in.NET MVC, Ruby on Rails, and Java technologies. An API is a way for a program to get the data it needs and to perform programming functions. The acronym stands for application programming interface. The API layer can be used to combine and simplify data from multiple sources. This allows the data to be transformed from legacy formats such as XML to mobile formats such as JSON. The API layer can also communicate with systems to trigger events such as creating sales documents or generating invoices. Once the API layer is in place web and mobile apps can be built to access the data or perform other functions provided by the APIs. We generally develop web apps in Microsoft's.NET MVC and Ruby on Rails. We've chosen to write the mobile apps using Appcelerator's excellent Titanium platform.
