Swing Dynamite is Ottawa's premier swing dance school and one of the largest and most successful swing dance schools in Canada. Featuring an instructor roster of national and international swing champions with years of teaching experience, we're proud to offer exciting, fun classes that truly teach people to love dancing. Swing Dynamite offers swing dance classes for all levels from beginner to advanced in the most popular styles of swing, jazz and blues dances, including Lindy Hop (aka Jitterbug), West Coast Swing, Balboa, Shag, Charleston and a range of blues dance styles. Our school leads a vibrant, friendly community of hundreds of Ottawa swing dancers who connect to even more dancers in nearby cities such as Montreal and Toronto. We also operate a professional performance swing dance troupe of over 40 dancers, many of whom are national swing champions. Our performances have been featured since 2006 performing at the National Arts Centre, major casinos, and for corporate events. We also provide smaller shows for private events such as weddings.
