Swings & Roundabouts is located at the Northern end of Caves Road in the Margaret River Wine region and boasts one of the most picturesque views in the region. The Swings team have a strong belief that this part of the region offers fruit that develops solid, well structured wines that have style and finesse. The philosophy is to capture and produce wines that express the characteristics of the vintage in which they were grown, creating fresh, honest and flavoursome wines that deliver consistent value for money. To do this, there is a clear understanding that what is lost on the roundabouts, we pick up on the swings. Our Winemaking team, Paul Birch and Brian Fletcher are well credentialed, serious winemakers who boast a cumulative 27 years of experience in the region. In addition to this they have together undertaken Vintages in Italy and Sicily or the Mezzogiorno as it is sometimes called which generally refers to the southern portion of the continental Italian Peninsular and Sicily. An area of the Mediterranean with a unique and diverse culture.similar to that of Margaret River. The Cellar Door at Swings also features traditional Italian wood fired pizza’s, as well as a serious coffee machine, cakes, comfy leather sofas and live music on Sundays. Come and see Chef Ivan Zecca throw your pizza dough in the air Wednesday through to Sunday and relax on our veranda with a glass of Swings.
