Swire Coca-Cola has the exclusive right to manufacture, market and distribute products of The Coca-Cola Company in 11 provinces and the Shanghai Municipality in the Chinese mainland; as well as in the HKSAR, Taiwan region, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and an extensive area of the western USA. Our 42 production facilities in Greater China, Southeast Asia and the USA produce and distribute over 60 beverage brands to 941 million people. The relationship with Coca-Cola began in 1965 with the acquisition by Swire of the majority shareholding in a Coca-Cola franchise in Hong Kong, a business known today as Swire Coca-Cola HK Ltd. Swire Pacific acquired the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Salt Lake City in 1978. Swire Coca-Cola employs about people and generates annual revenues of HK$ 37.9 billion.
