Sydney Showboats are replicas of the authentic paddlewheelers that plied the waters of Sydney Harbour in the 1800’s, yet provide all the comforts and conveniences of the modern era. The Sydney Showboats operate a nightly spectacular dinner cruise combining the spectacular sights of Sydney Harbour with entertainment and fine dining. Sydney Showboats present a whole new dining and show experience with the unveiling of their newly refurbished Sydney Showboat II, which has undergone a dramatic $1.5 million make-over. Completely redesigned by HBO + EMTB, one of the most recognised interior design companies in Australia (IMAX, Sydney Entertainment Centre, National Library of Australia), the new Sydney Showboat II features striking and stylish interior design not often seen on a vessel, including backlit marble, warm lighting, rich textured fabrics and dramatic lines. Sydney Showboats have hired only the best to ensure that every aspect of the boat’s interior is cutting-edge. The interior lighting is designed by Petra Kleegraefe of Architectural Lighting Design, who have been involved in Dubai Airport, Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and the Hyatt Regency Warsaw.
