SYLIA is a hybrid regenerative design studio and creative bio-lab with its roots in mycelium research, material prototyping, and curatorial practices. We fabricate mycelium-based materials for fashion and interior design, and collaborate with researchers and industry partners to produce them at scale. Together with our network of artists and designers, we create immersive and interactive experiences at the intersection of art, science, and digital technologies. SYLIA is focused on promoting sustainability by amplifying the potential applications of mycelium, both materially and conceptually, while inspiring others to join and contribute to the regeneration of our form of life through experiential design, open science, and network building.
