Conduct all aspects of private forest management. Assist landowners in identifying long-term objectives for forested land, including forestry, wildlife, and recreational goals. Write forest stewardship and Wisconsin Managed Forest Law plans for private landowners to identify steps toward attaining forest ownership goals. Plan, conduct, and analyze forest inventories. Plan and administer all aspects of timber sales according to written management plans, including timber sales done within Wisconsin Managed Forest Law program in conjunction with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources foresters. Collect, edit, analyze, present, and archive GIS data for planning purposes and for long-term documentation of field assets. Write, negotiate, and implement service contracts with private landowners.
