TaikoVentures LLC is a grassroots effort to reform the "Taiko Economy" by providing access to capital and technical support to TAIKO VOCATIONISTS (performing artists and teachers who earn their living perpetuating the art of Japanese drumming). In addition to a universal basic income for our community's most celebrated pioneers, we aim to take working artists off the "gig economy" and provide them a W-2 paycheck and the basic securities afforded by traditional employment (health insurance, workers comp, retirement plan). We also support taiko vocationists with administrative services (contracts, invoicing, travel support), marketing, consulting and process improvements, and start-up capital for projects with high revenue potential.
