Tajrupt

tajrupt is a social venture with a mission of fueling leapfrog development in Tajikistan through transforming youth potential into human capital. Our multi-year X-UP program empowers middle and high school students to chart their path toward admission into premier undergraduate institutions globally. tajrupt alumni study in 12 countries and have won $1.5 million in scholarships from universities such as Stanford and Duke. The program serves as a compass for students to attain English language proficiency, develop critical thinking skills, and pioneer civic action. tajrupt currently has presence in two cities (Dushanbe and Khujand) as well as in four rural districts of Tajikistan. More than 500 students have completed our curriculum with over 100 social impact projects benefitting thousands of citizens completed. Our goal is to scale the X-UP program into the Asian region beginning in Q4 2021 and are currently raising seed equity. Our funders to date have included United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and Open Society Foundations (OSF).
