Tali Karachi

Tali is a design studio and retail outlet situated in Karachi, Pakistan. It began with the desire to conserve indigenous craft and design by creating a demand for craft-based Pakistani products in both the domestic and foreign markets. Tali aims to empower the artisan while strictly adhering to fair trade practices. Tali has worked with craftspeople, designers, and artists from all around Pakistan during the past two decades. Tali has also participated in various local and international exhibitions, public art fairs, social empowerment programmes for communities, and designed projects for corporate clients. Some of the organisations Tali has collaborated with over the years include: World Craft Council, Pakistan Craft Council, Koel Gallery, Canvas Gallery, Copper and Steel, Dubai Expo 2020, NED University, Pursukoon Karachi, National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Sindh Singhar, Standard Chartered Bank, Jang Group, Cantonment Railway Station Karachi, Engro, K-Electric, Gul Ahmed Textiles and Serena Hotels. Tali is currently working with craftspeople from all provinces and regions of Pakistan, including: Hala, Badin, Khairpur, Tando Bhago, Umerkot, Sahiwal, Thar, Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Swat, Hazara, Hunza, Khaplu, Azad Kashmir, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta.
