Talking Type 1
The Talking Type 1 books were originally developed in NHS Wales by Clinical Psychologist Dr Rose Stewart with support from CYPDN Wales in 2017. The books cover a range of common psychological issues that are specific to living with diabetes, and can be used in conjunction with advice and support from diabetes teams to help address issues that commonly would not be considered severe enough to warrant a referral to psychological services. We have written books for adults, parents and award winning books for children. Our books can be purchased internationally.
