In the aerodynamic field, different shapes have different aerodynamic characteristics. All traditional horizontal wind turbines have the same shape and performance, indicating that the design tools and methods of traditional wind turbine have been standardized. All vertical wind turbines have different shapes, and their performances are completely different or huge different. It shows that the traditional design tools and methods can't be applied to vertical wind turbine. An innovative design method and tools are required. Aerodynamic is an experimental science, all excellent design results come from the "trial-error" Talos has two types of products. One is only one that meets the commercial standard vertical wind turbine (VAWT) in the world. More than different models vertical wind turbines installed in different geographic environment in 60 countries, such as cold area of Alaska, desert and high temperature area of Saudi Arabia, on the mountaintop top of in Tajikistan etc. Other product is next generation wind turbine such as Super Turbine and Air-water turbine. Super Turbine is a modular & combined wind turbine with very low power generation cost. Its power generation cost is less than $1 cent/kwh at average wind speed 6.5m/s wind farm. It is next generation wind turbine. Air-Water Turbine is a dedicated compressed air turbine which can be used in the compressed air storage energy industry for peak shaving. Its cost is less than 1/5th compared to a steam turbine with the same capacity, but its comprehensive efficiency can reach 99.9% from air to air. It can be parallel-connected & consists of a big storage energy station.
