Bee’ah, The Sharjah Environment Co. was created and mandated to address the growing waste and environmental challenges that are affecting the Emirate of Sharjah. By bringing together international experts and through the application of global best practices, Bee’ah will clean up the city of Sharjah and outlying towns. Our aim is to reduce the substantial burden on landfills, make Sharjah a regional leader in environmental concerns and assess and address the future environmental challenges. Early on it was indentified that significant improvements could be made to the management, processes and operations of the city’s street sweeping and waste management divisions. After exhaustive consultation and research a strategy was formed, a plan developed and ‘Tandeef’ is the result of this in-depth study on how to improve the services. Through comprehensive fleet management, fully integrated logistics and an accountable customer service program, Tandeef will provide a world class city cleaning and beautification management service and an operating model that can be exported region wide. The main activities will include inner city waste collection and transportation, main thoroughfare wet-wash cleaning, curbstone scrubbing, storm drain evacuation and litter vacuuming.
