The National Program for Enhancing Economic Diversification -Implementation Support and Follow-up Unit “Tanfeedh” is the National Program for Enhancing Economic Diversification in the Sultanate of Oman. It brings together public and private sector stakeholders to discuss challenges, agree on action and accelerate implementation of existing economic goals. Adopting the highly-acclaimed Malaysian model, the Government Transformation Programme (GTP), Tanfeedh conducts full-time working sessions called “Labs” dedicated per each priority sector in Oman. Decision makers in each sector periodically spend significant time in each lab to monitor progress and challenge the participants towards setting higher targets. After the Labs, the resulted actions are published, reviewed and assessed regularly up until they achieve the goals for 2020. We welcome your opinion on the Tanfeedh project.
