Tanir International is dedicated to advancing Financial Inclusion in Africa at the nexus of GESI (Gender Equality & Social Inclusion) and Climate for Sustainable Economic Development. Our vision is a continent where low-income people especially women, youth, persons with disability,smallholder farmers, micro and small enterprises access and use quality, affordable financial services and products as well as actively participate in the economy to improve the quality of their lives, build on their financial health and resilience in the face of economic and climate shocks. Financial Exclusion hampers the ability to earn, have protection in times of crisis, and the ability to build financial health and resilience of low-income people especially women, youth, persons with disability,smallholder farmers, micro and small enterprises. Financial inclusion means that individuals and businesses have access to useful and affordable financial products and services that meet their needs – transactions, payments, savings, credit and insurance – delivered in a responsible and sustainable way(World Bank,2016). It has been identified as an enabler for 7 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Tanir International strategic areas of focus include: 1.
