Tanka’s mission is to create and develop portfolios of leading materials and process technologies and the legacy industries they can revitalise, in order to increase efficiencies, reduce externalities and create a renewed future. We do this by creating and developing our own concepts and projects in which we invest. Each Tanka concept addresses in its unique way the large existential challenges we all face worldwide such as climate change, sustainability, pollution and deadly diseases. Our key areas of focus are Bioplastics, Green Steel, Clean Mining, and Biotech & Life-sciences. At Tanka we seek innovative applications and development of existing emerging technologies that can provide solutions to significant problems. In collaboration with strategic partners, we scale and commercialise them, while creating new operating companies and turning them into the next growth success stories that truly contribute to a better tomorrow.
