Tara Sansthan, an NGO, is devoted to the suffering Poor & Old People, was founded in 2009. About the organization: Tara Sansthan is a registered charitable organization established in 2009 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was started by Mrs. Kalpana Goyal, daughter of Dr. Kailash ‘Manav’ founder of Narayan Seva Sansthan in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. It has been committed to accomplishing selfless and free-of-cost projects towards providing services of eye diagnosis and free-of-cost cataract surgeries, shelter, and support in terms of donations to old aged people and young widows, and school education children of widows and slum children without any discrimination of caste, religion, gender, language. Our VISION We envision a place where all people specifically in old age- regardless of who they are and where they are from- get the support they need- whenever they need it and can live a healthy life with smiles and self-respect. MISSION We accomplish our vision with the invaluable support of individuals, institutes, and government agencies in our activities of cataract treatment, old age homes, financial assistance to widows, and education to children from poor families and widows. VALUES Humanity: Tara Sansthan- constituted to put efforts to either prevent or alleviate human sufferings specifically in old age. Impartiality: It does not discriminate as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class, or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the sufferings of individuals. Respectful: Sansthan has a culture to treat all workforce members with equality and dignity and support in enhancing their capabilities. Decisive: Members of sansthan at each hierarchy level have the decision-making skills, within their profile areas, so that projects or activities can be completed with peace and confidence within a stipulated time frame.
