Taraclia Winery

Taraclia winery was founded in 1955. It is situated in the South of Moldova in the town of Taraclia. The resource base of our company is represented by 180 ha of vines. The plantation was established in when internationally recognized grape varieties were planted. They include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc. The share of red grape varieties is 70%. The climate of the Southern Moldova is moderate continental, with the influence from the Black sea. The soils are predominantly black, with the layers of clay and sand. Our company produces varietal wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc), as well as blends. Taraclia winery has a collection of 10 thousand bottles of wines of vintages. The oldest one is 1906 vintage wine.
