Targa Classica is a 4-day event in Victoria, that celebrates the passion for classic motor cars. It replicates the adventure, culture, and competition of the world's oldest motor races of Italy, infused with a uniquely local flavour. Since its inception in 2017, Targa Classica has aimed to create an atmosphere that mirrors the excitement and community involvement seen in Italy. The event fosters community engagement and collaborates closely with local councils and Victorian regions. It offers car enthusiasts the perfect motoring experience through a 4-day competition inspired by the classic regularity events of Italy. Participants have the opportunity to drive on Victoria's exceptional roads, taking in the sights of regional tourist destinations, savouring unique local food and wine, and forging lasting friendships. Targa Classica provides two categories for drivers to compete in. The Competition Stages follow a European format that emphasizes precision rather than speed, challenging the skills of drivers and navigators as they strive to meet exact times and set average speeds over designated stages.
