When Taste Guru’s co-founder, David Fishman, was diagnosed with celiac disease just a few years ago, he was worried that he might never enjoy eating the way he had before. Too many of the gluten-free products that he and his wife tried had the flavor of week-old cardboard — even many of the high-priced “gourmet” items tasted stale. But slowly, through a process of trial and error, they began to discover some awesome gluten-free food. Mealtimes began to return to normal: a time to relax and appreciate first-class food. That’s when David realized that there is no reason finding delicious gluten-free food should be difficult or time consuming. He founded Taste Guru’s Box of the Month Club to introduce great gluten-free products to people of all sorts living gluten free.
