Tate & Lyle Ventures

Tate & Lyle Ventures has £55m of funds under management on behalf of its Limited Partner, the global food ingredient company Tate & Lyle plc, whilst managed independently by Circadia Ventures LLP. It was announced at the beginning of 2013 that Tate & Lyle Ventures was launching a new £30m fund focused on investing in high growth companies in the areas of food sciences and technologies. In particular we are looking to invest in early-stage and growth food ingredient companies in the areas of sweeteners, texturants and "health & wellness". We believe that our insight into financing high growth businesses coupled with Tate & Lyle's expertise in bringing new products to market offers our portfolio companies a unique competitive advantage in building successful independent ventures.
