Taters, Inc

The vision of Taters began when a small group of bourbon and whiskey enthusiasts came together to share their passion for buying, drinking and sharing their love of all things whiskey. Whether it was shared creativity for labels on barrels they helped select or simply providing tips on the latest shelf bottles, these taters were happy to share their enthusiasm for the drink amongst themselves. These shared interests became particularly important during the pandemic when face to face social interactions became all too infrequent and it became apparent that the rich history of the bourbon culture in America was something that could unite event without such interactions. As is common in life – and in particular the bourbon world – the members of the group experienced the dichotomy of emotions in the bourbon community. On the one hand, they found that bourbon lovers tend be some of the most generous people we know. On the other hand, amidst the bourbon hysteria, people often lose sight of what’s important during the frustrating hunt for the latest unicorns. It became a apparent that an organization could help bridge the gap between those well-versed in the rich history of American Whiskey and those who have recently discovered their passion. And more importantly, it was apparent that because “Bourbon brings people together,” they could come together for a common good. So we formed Taters, Inc. to help harness the passion of the bourbon and whiskey enthusiasts and use it to help make our community better. Taters will organize charity events, conduct bottle reviews, collaborate on barrel selections, and stories from the bourbon trail to support our mission.
