TBA Douglas is a full-service architecture, interior design, and planning firm established in 2023 from the merger of two renowned firms, TBA Studio and Douglas Architects, bringing more than 37 years of combined professional architectural services in an extensive range of project types. Douglas Architects was founded in 2007, in San Antonio. Andrew and Melissa Douglas created Douglas Architects with a desire to make a positive impact on the quality of life in the San Antonio area by designing creative, innovative, sustainable, and memorable buildings that complement the unique, historic context of this amazing place we so love. Now, more then than 17 years later, our values and commitment remain. On over 150 projects, the collaborative design effort that we have engaged in with our clients and team members, has had a positive impact on our community. In all of this, we acknowledge our firm’s talented team of professionals, whose dedication and drive have made all the difference. In 2023, Douglas Architects combined forces with TBA Studio to form TBA Douglas, a downtown San Antonio firm with a team of over 36 professionals across three cities and extensive experience in over eight market sectors. Our two entities share a profound connection through our parallel cultures, values, experiences, and talents. Both TBA Studio and Douglas Architects embrace a fusion of historical preservation and modern innovation, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Together, we have gained a greater depth of expertise and expanded resources which enhance our clients’ experience.
